I pondered how I would verbally describe Jeremyville for quite some time. Then I got up. I grabbed a beer. I sat back down. I sipped. Thought some more. I dripped some beer bottle perspiration on my keyboard. I cursed. I thought a bit more. And still nothing….
Jeremyville defies words. The whole concept is just…extremely freakin’ cool.

So instead of having a mediocre attempt of my own, I thought I might turn to the big man himself to let a few words out about what Jeremyville is all about. The excerpt that follows is directly taken from an interview with J’Ville back in ‘03.

The Jeremy brand has always been more an art/design project rather than fashion, as I find ‘fashion’ quite limiting in its constraints and following of trends and market dictates. I always want to remain a bit separate from the ‘fashion mainstream’, and to tackle the solution from my own perspective, and with my own visual signature. Remember, I approached the clothing caper as an architecturally trained, newspaper editor/illustrator and graphic designer, rather than from any fashion school, so it’s bound to reflect that.
