Alex Solis or more popularly known Alexmdc is one of the most famous designer in threadless. He is an illustrator based in Milwaukee, WI and he’s got some stern flair for designing graphics and tees. He starts all his work with the traditional pen and paper and completes them in Photoshop. Few months ago, Alex won a number of challenges on Threadless and earned quite a reputation amongst the most notable designers there. Let’s take a some of his awesome collection of tees.

Parting the red sea is one of the most popular and high scored tee on threadless. There is magic, art, talent, creativity and uniqueness in his graphic and that I guess is the reason why he is so well received at threadless. The magician with a wand is featured at the bottom who is chanting his spells over the sea. The sea in response gets parted into two. Awesome graphic and awesome talent this guy has in store.

The king is also equally popular and well rated tee by this genius designer. The bright orange hue along with the royalty of the king being held high in the air by a monkey or so to say a huge monkey is amazingly humorous. What I find humorous is the debate as to who the king is? The guy held up or the animal that might just throw him off the cliff and become the ruler?

The monkey business is inspired from the Godfather movie’s poster. The designer says that he must have actually got the idea while watching the movie. The expression of the monkey he portrayed, his attires, the cigar and the rose on the side make him look like some real business minded ape. Well I must say it really takes some raw talent to come up with concepts as this one.

The house brawl is inspired form the Harry Potter. Though the designer accepts that he isn’t any diehard fan of the potter series, yet he hit this design just for his partner who is deeply in love with the series. Kudos to the designer who could shape a potter movie inspired deign in this a way!
