Philipp of Armed Angels dropped me a line recently to say g’day and let me know about his new label.
Armed Angels is based in Germany, and is the first label I’ve come across that labels itself as a Social Fashion Label. I asked Phillip what he thought the principles of a “social fashion label” were….
“It’s all about the finest street fashion made with an uncompromising rejection of child labour, wage exploitation and environmental pollution. All armedangels styles are made of 100% organic cotton and produced under Fairtrade guidelines. This is how we’re going to put an end to child labour, exploitation and environmental pollution. On top, 3,33€ from every sold item is donated to charity projects. Our stuff is cool and we for once truly don’t harm anybody, neither workers nor the environment by trying to establish a place in the fashion market.”

Armed Angels was founded in Cologne, Germany. The area is home to a bunch of great street artists who have contributed to the Armed Angels range of designs. In addition to their rad range of tees, Armed Angels also provides loyal customers with unique opportunities to become more involved with the Armed Angels label.
Armed Angels Stylescouts
Armed Angels styescouts are members of the general public with proven style! These elusive fashion fanatics decide as a collective how the next Armed Angels collection will look.
To become a style scout, you must successfully answer five questions that the Armed Angels crew throw at you. If, according to them, you know enough about fashion and trends, you’ll be invited to become a Stylescout and you will help decide on the next Armed Angels Style-Of-The-Month. Pretty cool huh!
Social Fashion Ambassadors
If you’re after a bit of ego-stroking (or ego-bashing for that matter), enter the Armed Angels “Social Fashion Ambassador” competition. Submit a flashy photo of yourself and put your integrity on the line - the public will vote for the 2008 male and female faces of Armed Angels.

Get social and visit Armed Angels.

I have never seen this company before but I like that it has a certain cause that it represents and this t shirt with the angel is major sweet. I usually dont by tees at first glance, but I am going to there website after this post and checking them out. It is nice to see original designs still exist in a copycat world such as now. Peace.
