As the digital age continues to progress and become a normal part of our everyday lives, tshirts are gradually becoming more interactive.
You’ve probably already seen tshirts that contain flashing lights that pulsate to the beat of nearby music, and tees that are emblazoned with QR Codes that conveniently link you straight through to special websites when observed through your mobile phone’s camera.
But have you ever seen a t-shirt that actually bleeds before your very eyes?
The World Wide Fund For Nature (better known internationally as the WWF) recently launched a radical campaign intended to increase awareness of a particular endangered species of animal, the Siberian tiger.
The campaign is based around a simple white tshirt emblazoned with a tiger drawing (it’s actually quite a cool tee design – I’d definitely wear it, particularly since back in the day I was somewhat obsessed with tigers, which was strangely all triggered by a leopard print pair of Rusty board-shorts that I owned).
Where this tshirt gets all interactive on your ass, is when it is viewed through an Augmented Reality (AR) based mirror. WWF printed thousands of tiger t-shirts and distributed them through shops in Moscow. Each of these stores had a special Augment Reality ‘video mirror’ installed.
This special mirror instantly activates the AR experience the moment a tiger t-shirt was detected standing in front of it. And at that moment, the experience became quite full-on and graphic to anyone wearing the endangered tiger shirt. In the mirror the wearer would actually see bullet wounds appear before their very eyes, with huge amounts of blood and sound effects to match.
Gory. Awesome. Watch the movie below, now!
Thanks.
Thanks.
Really this is awesome t-shirt by this type of t-shirt you convey massages to your society with using words.
