Aaaah, communal living …. cheap rent, grimy floors, loud music and an ever-growing stack of dirty dishes. How I miss those days.

Fortunately, we can now continue to appreciate the finer side of Communal living through Commune – an “ever changing, ever growing designers collective” of indie t-shirts available for purchase online.

…ever-growing, like a stack of dirty dishes…?

.

Commune was founded by Jeremy Bennett in the grassy green corner of the globe we all know as New Zealand. Established in 2002, Commune has two simple aims:

1. To work with talented and interesting artists and designers from around the world.
2. To produce a yearly range of high quality, beautiful and unique t-shirt designs.

So why the name Commune?
It’s called Commune because it’s a group effort. A bunch of talented designers have come together to produce a portfolio of very appealing designs for your viewing and wearing pleasure.
