Someone Clothing is based in Portland, Oregon. The line started in 2007 when artist and screen printer Someone met hiphop artist and t-shirt enthusiast Sleep. They’ve been collaborating since meeting at a Glue concert and have been keeping their ties with rap strong — sponsoring artists like Josh Martinez and Glue member Adeem.
We were lucky enough to pick up Someone after meeting Sleep at a Chicarones concert in San Diego last year. Someone Clothing entered our Brand Battle and won with flying technicolors. Afterward they put together a great set of hand printed t-shirts for us — most of which are in custom colors exclusive to Always Urban.
All of their products are hand screened, and many come with hand painted customized color accents Someone calls “Monkey Arms.” The “Monkey Arms” process combined with the hand screening, make Someone shirts truly one-of-a-kind.
