World Cup 2006 fever is starting to break out like a fresh bout of meningococcal. And I am an unfortunate victim.
Now is when I proudly proclaim my heritage as an Australian citizen, born and bred.
I also proclaim now that if Australia win the 2006 World Cup, I will eat this website and all of the communications infrastructure which allows this site to be transmitted to PCs across the globe. I am fairly certain this is a feat that has never been attempted by anyone on this earth.
So C’mon Australia, make me eat my words.
Literally.
Regardless, Benji, one of my good pals from way back, e-mailed me wondering where he could find one of these fancy-dancy Aussie World Cup supporters tees. Thankfully, I tracked them down before Australia was knocked out of the Cup!

This one praises Guus, the main man
who led the charge against Uruguay to
secure Oz a place in the Cup!
In Guus We Trust!

And this one is old-school. I love retro,
and this is Aussie retro at its finest.
Tight & bright, it’s a true delight.
Both of these World Cup shirts, and a bunch more supporters gear, can be found on the Green and Gold Army website.
Bring it on!

Big Guus is sooo mighty. Shame he didn’t get the England job. (Good luck in the month ahead!)
