There’s a bunch of great and undiscovered designers floggin’ their wares on ebay.com.au. This fine specimen packs some real punch…

It’s a design sold exclusively on ebay by Nikdenim, an Aussie online fashion retailer. The print featured on this white t-shirt is very topical to present day society, without being too blatantly political.
A graphic (all-too-familiar) image of a young lout hurling molotov cocktails, has been manipulated to instead portray a young lover-not-a-fighter hurling a bunch of colourful petal-bearing plants into the breeze. Some may argue that the whole concept is a little too ‘flowery’ for their liking, but hey, any shirt that flares up an argument in the first place is worthy of some air-play, right?

Nikdenim also stocks a variety of other funky items including jeans, wristbands, necklaces and the like. If you’ve got a few minutes to kill, and a few spare dollars to play with, jump on ebay now and have a gander.

Now that’s cool… people need more flowers thrown at them, not Molotov cocktails!

BTW, I think there should be more coverage on Aussie retailers/designs… it’s kinda exxy to buy T-shirts overseas and pay like $20+ postage.
Maybe I’m just overseas-averse… but I like buying stuff locally.

Hey Chris
I agree. Buying t-shirts in one’s mother country is always a good way to save a few bucks…not to mention a great way to support and encourage local industry.
There’ll be plenty more Aussie threads up on T-Shirt Alert in no time…check out Jeremyville’s fine artwork if you need any Aussie fix immediately.

That design is by British Graphiti artist Banksy http://www.banksy.co.uk

Any shirts that have Banksy designs on them are not sponsored or endorsed by Banksy. They’re rip-offs of his designs, which is pretty lame, in my opinion.
He says on his website FAQ (http://www.banksy.co.uk/help/index.html):
“Do you sell t-shirts?
i don’t make shirts because it would feel like the painting was a guerilla marketing campaign for a fashion label.”

Keep in mind the message of Banksy when you’re paying a bunch of money for tee shits. The Image isn’t hard to reproduce, make your own.

this design is from Banksy, and the aussies should be careful with their copyright infringments.
