So, um, my main man Jake asked if I would like to be a guest author on T-shirt Alert and I thought about it and thought about it some more before I said yes.
I mean, I’m a ninja, not a writer.
Still, I thought that maybe it’s a good platform for me to get my story out there.
My name is Hiro.
I’m a ninja-in-training.
It’s hard work, but it’s harder work when you are three heads shorter than everyone else, and your badass kitty partner, is out to get you every chance he gets.
Clearly, I am the underdog and I have to work harder than everyone else.
I suppose Tactical Urban Gears (TUG) saw something about me in them. That’s why they decided to adopt me as their mascot.
Now, I know that Tactical Urban Gears (TUG) sounds like the kind of place where you’d expect them to sell camouflage apparel or Batman-type gadgets, where if you buy in bulk, they’ll throw in a free bazooka or two, right?
Actually, no. They’re a young, urban t-shirt brand with a focus on graphic and design. They currently have a line called Hirobot, named after, ahem, yours truly. You’ll see me on the t-shirts doing all kinds of cool ninja poses, looking fiercer than any supermodel on a photo shoot.
My kitty partner, Ono, is on the shirts too, but kindly ignore him, because this is not about him.
It is about me.
Because the point of a Hiro shirt is about working harder than everyone else.
It is about being calm in the face of adversity.
It is about underdogs of the world uniting.
So there you have it. My story. And if you think you see some of your own story in there or if you just want to see some cool tees, I hope that you will come visit Tactical Urban Gears (TUG).
Oh, and I have cookies.
