Customised tees are becoming more and more prominent every day. Walking up the street to the corner store, you’ll always pass by a handful of people that have printed their own pretty little pictures or statements on their cotton-covered chests for the world to see.
But I bet you haven’t seen this strolling down the street before…

It’s Hub wear.
George, the founder of Hub, is a man with a healthy obsession for airport codes and tshirts. So he has combined the two to provide airline passengers with the opportunity to customise their very own travel-tees.
But, but, but… what are airport codes?
They’re those freakin’ 3-letter words that represent each airport in the world, that flash up over and over again on the departures screen when you’re stuck for 11.5 hours in Singapore because your damn flight was delayed. And noooo, I am not bitter, ok!
So in a nutshell, Hubwear t-shirts display the wearer’s favorite travel routes in airport codes, with the two airport codes on the front of the tshirt showing the outbound flight, and the return trip shown on the back of the tee.

Chicago O’Hare > San Franciso
.
When designing your customised t-shirt, you are able choose from a predefined list of airports (at the moment a lot of the options are US airports) for $25US per tee. Or, if you’re feeling a little bit crazy, go the whole hog and order the $35 “First Class” fare which entitles you to a completely custom itinerary involving any airport code in the world!
So next time you’re heading off on holidays, hook up some Hub wear. It won’t necessarily get you there any faster (or overcome the inevitable delays in Singapore airport!) but you’ll look damn cool in the waiting lounge.

An interesting idea, those niches keep getting nicher. You could also just make this at any of the custom tshirt sites, but i guess that spoils the fun
