It’s been less than 24 hours since the news of tech-legend Steve Jobs sadly passed away, and already distasteful puns are flooding the web.
I find it ironic, and deeply disappointing, that many are using the very devices that Steve spent a lifetime refining to circulate completely and utterly inappropriate ‘jokes’ about Steves’ passing. What’s worse, is when this distaste is used for commercial gain, which is why today I’m giving two huge thumbs down to Better Than Pants for their effort below.
C’mon society, just because you don’t know someone personally, it doesn’t make their death any less tragic, and particularly doesn’t open up the floor for your own distasteful commentary.
RIP Steve, your contribution to the modern world deserves a moment of quiet moral reflection from us all.
