Look, I’ve just scored myself an awesome new tshirt from Shoe Money.
Honestly, this isn’t photo-shopped, I promise., it’s just really….<cough> poor picture quality, it was taken on a really bad camera…
Ok, I admit it, I don’t have my hands on a Shoe Money tshirt….yet , but I really would like one!
Why does Jake from Tshirt Alert want a shoe money tshirt?
As you will have noticed, if you are a regular reader of Tshirt Alert, there are thousands of great tshirt designs available for sale on the internet. But, how many of these tshirt designs actually mean something to their wearer?
I mean, without putting my ‘tshirt design critic’ hat on, the Shoe Money tshirt design is obviously quite basic, in comparison to some of the designs we’ve seen over the years. However, despite this, the tshirt is still very appealing and meaningful to a collective audience of thousands. The reason for this, is that the humble tshirt is an integral component in Jeremy Schoemaker‘s ongoing success as an online marketer, since Shoe Money was conceived a couple of years ago. And these days, Jeremy has a large readership base who would kill to wear his Shoe Money tees.
Jeremy has incorporated tshirts into his online marketing endeavours in two ways. Firstly, there’s Free shirt Friday, whereby Jeremy provides valuable exposure through his highly-trafficked website, to any company willing to donate a tshirt. Secondly, Jeremy wears his Shoe Money tee proudly to most of the marketing events, summits and conferences he attends , as a proud token of the brand he has built from scratch. To me that represents his real belief, and delight, in his own efforts and hard work.
Although you’ll often see me wearing highly artistic tshirt designs, obscure and random tshirts that cannot be found on store shelves, and sometimes bold slogan tshirts that make mothers cringe, tshirts such as Jeremy’s ‘Shoe Money’ tshirt are symbolic in proving why tshirts will always be popular fashion items. How? Because wearing a tshirt proudly, is all about wearing your heart on your sleeve….or in this case, on your chest.
So Jeremy……if I ask really really nicely, what are the chances of allowing me to update that terrible-quality photo of me at the start of this post?

Great post Jake. i’m sure we’ll see you in the shoe money in no time. agree symbolic takes pride over fashion for me too, kombi tshirts take precedense in my wardrobe. Shoe money shows he knows a bit about traditional merch marketing as well as online marketing.
