With the slogan coolafied tshirts, you’d be made not to expect a bit of light-hearted fun.

Perusing the AAITSKI! range was the most fun I’ve had sitting down in quite a while. But I won’t sit here and dwell on the last time I had fun sitting down, or this could go downhill faster than a billycart without brakes.

AAITSKI! is a self-confessed hot brand of coolafied tees hailing from Belgium. Designed lovingly by the AAITSKI! brothers, Brunowski & Flipowski, each print is almost Japanesy in it’s nature.

Labels like Paul Frank have had success creating an identifiable style through the use of cute li’l characters, and I have a sneaking suspicion that AAITSKI! is going to win the hearts of many for the same reasons.

What sets AAITSKI! apart from the ‘cutenes’s of Japanese-style cartoonists drawing inspiration from the likes of Hello Kitty are the ghetto-style slogans beneath each print.

Bulldowzah, Roadspeedah and EskiBrotha are just a couple of designs from the AAITSKI! range where dirty street talk somehow compliments the innocent character-based cartoons.

I’m the proud owner of a few tees from the AAITSKI! range, and must confess, I’m addicted to my Eskiboy tee (possibly because I’m a bodyboarder, sometimes known less fondy as an esky-lid rider).

Vague Clothing’s had a new range out for a little while now.

Pictured below is the foray of fresh designs, they each come in a bunch more vibrant colours (the spectrum reminds me of a pack of Fruit Tingles).

As a gesture of courtesy, I’ve tastefully indicated my two faves amongst the strong bunch of seven designs pictured above (which was really just an excuse to exhibit my superior Microsoft Paint skills)….

I’m sure they have official names but I’ll just address them as grade A student and engorged comma.
