Without being a preacher (I already have two other jobs) it’s a good thing when someone helps you to make a difference without too much hassle. As I was reminded though it’s not just about the material of a tee it’s about the lifecycle of the tee – washing it every time you wear it, how much detergent we use, etc etc.
Too heavy for a tee blog? Possibly. But it’s good to poke the old conscience every now and again. Then you can go and get a eco conscious cotton tee. Now it’s not just me, but eco cotton has a great feel to it, in my mind it’s like organic food – smaller but tastier!?
So we have a couple of Tees from the Bohemoth that is Timberland. Why you might ask? Well for the resons above of course – that and the designs are pretty good as well. It’s always nice to get past the logo, distressed logo, colored and repeated logo, inversed logo and misplaced logo. So bask in the goodness and check out the Earthkeeper range that these are from for a conscious decision about garms. Can I get an Amen? What about a raised eyebrow?
