Ever heard of Barking Irons before?
Well, neither had I until the wise minds behind the Barking Irons t-shirt label alerted me of their presence recently.

So the story goes, a Barking Iron is a 19th Century slang term for a pistol.

The entire Barking Irons label is based on this 19th century wild-wild-west theme, with a great range of tees influenced by the the folklore, history and literature of the pistol-packing outlaws of Old New York.
Yep, believe it or not, there was a time when your average outlaw did not wear Adidas sneakers, a hoodie, and pimp around in a low, black Mercedes Benz.

Not only do Barking Irons produce edgy vintage tees, but they also have an ultra-funky jewellery offering, made from antique spoons. This stuff is awesome!

It’s great to see such an innovative label leveraging off an era that has been, for the most part, ignored by today’s t-shirt labels.
Go on, strike while the iron is hot, and check out Barking Irons today.
