Santa Who? you ask. Well, I don’t think there’s a need to introduce him… he is one of the greatest legends and myths there is. In that sense Santa Claus has many things in common with Usama BenLaden: he wears a long beard, and no one knows where he hides, whether he lives or he is dead and if he really does what people believe him to do:
Even further: Is he one or several persons? We know it takes little to go as a convincing impostor: a Santa Kit is said to be circulating amongst his faithfuls.
Even his earthliness is sometimes doubted… some theorists even assume he came with a Spaceship. However, a vast majority of experts still hangs on to the common belief he uses a raindeer powered sleigh for locomotion:

Concluding: little is known about Santa Claus. His function of bringing gifts at christmas time is a most commonly accepted theory amongst the Santa Claus believers, leading some to the belief that his true nature is one of a gamer: how else can he access the exact knowledge of the wishes of so many Wii addicted kids? However, his reputation for punishing the naughty kids has lost strength over time. This explains why belief in Santa Claus is so widespread especially among the young generation.
