The pencil sketch print and sinister aesthetic designs

DR POPCORN APPAREL or DPA is a Sheffield based independent clothing company. Despite a large amount of qualms surrounding the appeal and ominous aesthetic of the designs, DPA believes that going against the grain and offering a substitute to the conventional is the only way to go about business. Rough and ready as they call it, DPA designs are built from the ground up using a variety of media; including photographs, pencil, ink, paint, charcoal etc. DPA’s aim is to create designs that stand out from the crowd and are not just run-of-the-mill.

The dark might look threatening but they are the colors of life; you have to face dark to bring out the light that lies ahead. The designs have a different outlook and the overall concept is not at all gloomy as some blame them for. The t-shirts are approved by the Fair Wear Foundation – Certifying ethical trade and justice for workers. They are printed with water based inks to ensure the softest and most natural feel possible. They are actually symbolizing life as it is. Colors we add to eradicate the monotony but once in a while all of us like to go back to the extremes. These are the best of sketch print collections I have come across yet and I’m sure most of you will say the same after checking them out.
